Galvanized Steel Tube 60x60mm Square 2.5mm

This 60 × 60 mm square galvanized steel tube pairs a 2.5 mm wall with a Z200 hot-dip zinc coating, giving structural fabricators a stiff, corrosion-resistant hollow section. It is widely specified for building frames, columns, mezzanine supports, storage racking, sign gantries, carport posts and heavy-duty railings that must withstand outdoor exposure.

The 2.5 mm wall gives the 60 mm square section enough bending and compression capacity to serve as a primary column or beam member in low-rise structures, racking systems and equipment supports. The Z200 coating adds coating mass for harsher or longer-term exposure, while the flat faces simplify bolting, welding and corner detailing. Where a project colour is required, the section also takes powder coating or paint readily.

Typical uses include warehouse racking uprights, mezzanine and platform framing, walkway and conveyor supports, greenhouse and carport structures, gate frames, handrail posts and general fabrication where a galvanized finish removes the need for on-site painting.
