Grade Selection Guide
304 is the general-purpose grade for atmospheric and mild chemical environments. 316 adds molybdenum for superior resistance to chlorides and saltwater, and the L variants (304L, 316L) reduce carbon content for welded sections where intergranular corrosion is a concern. If your project environment is aggressive, our engineers will confirm the correct grade before quotation.
