Aluminum Sheet 5052 1.5mm
5052 aluminum sheet in 1.5 mm is a magnesium-alloyed aluminium sheet supplied in the H32 strain-hardened and stabilised temper. The magnesium addition gives 5052 the highest fatigue strength of the common non-heat-treatable alloys and excellent resistance to salt water and industrial atmosphere. At 1.5 mm the gauge is firm enough to hold a flat panel and still formable enough to bend, roll and deep draw, which makes it a practical all-round sheet for cookware, signage, panels, marine trim and general fabrication.

Typical Applications
Because 5052 combines seawater corrosion resistance with good formability and weldability, the 1.5 mm sheet is widely specified for cookware blanks and utensil bodies, road signs and nameplates, electrical enclosures, truck and trailer panels, boat hull trim, fuel tanks and pressure vessels. It anodizes and paints evenly and is readily MIG or TIG welded, so it takes both finished architectural work and functional fabricated assemblies.
