Hot Rolled Steel Coil Q235B 4.75mm

This hot rolled steel coil is produced in Q235B grade at 4.75 mm thickness, one of the most widely used heavy-gauge sizes in general engineering. It is typically specified for tube and pipe making, cold-formed sections, cut-to-length plate and general fabrication where a weldable carbon steel with consistent formability is needed.

At 4.75 mm the coil sits at the heavy end of common hot rolled strip, so each coil feeds slitting lines, tube mills and cut-to-length lines with fewer stops for coil changes. Q235B combines moderate strength with good weldability, keeping roll forming, slitting and welding straightforward without pre-heating or special consumables.

Typical applications include welded pipe and tube, cold-formed purlins and profiles, storage racking, machine frames, agricultural equipment and general structural work. It is also a common input for re-rolling and for pressed parts where drawing requirements are modest.
