Deformed Steel Bar (Rebar) HRB400E 14mm

This 14 mm deformed steel bar is supplied in HRB400E, the seismic-resistant hot-rolled ribbed grade specified for reinforced concrete frames. It suits column ties, slab distribution bars, wall reinforcement and general building work where the design calls for a 400 MPa nominal yield bar with the ductility to resist cyclic and earthquake loading.

The 14 mm bar is a practical mid-size reinforcement for column ties, stirrups and slab distribution steel, and for smaller-diameter cages where a heavier bar would be difficult to bend and place. Its ribbed surface develops bond with concrete so anchorage and lap lengths stay workable, while the E grade lets the member yield and absorb energy before failure under seismic action.
