304 Stainless Steel Plate 4mm 2B Finish

Shuncheng supplies stainless steel plate in grade 304 at 4 mm thickness with a 2B finish, cut to 1500 × 3000 mm. The 2B finish is cold rolled, annealed and pickled to a smooth, mildly reflective surface that cleans easily and welds predictably — a practical choice for fabrication shops, food and beverage equipment, and architectural panel work.

Applications

4 mm 304 plate is a common working thickness where a balance of stiffness and formability is needed. It bends and welds without special procedures, holds a clean hygienic surface, and resists corrosion in most indoor and fresh-water service conditions. Typical uses include food processing and dairy equipment, chemical and pharmaceutical tanks, commercial kitchen and catering fabrication, elevator and architectural cladding panels, water treatment components, and general sheet metal work.

Plates are supplied sheared or mill edge, with protective film available on request for visible surfaces. For marine, coastal or chloride-heavy environments, we recommend reviewing grade 316L instead of 304, since molybdenum content changes how the material performs in salt exposure.
