Seamless Carbon Steel Pipe 20# 4 inch Sch 40

This seamless carbon steel pipe is supplied in grade GB 20# with a 4 inch (NPS 4 / DN 100) diameter and Schedule 40 wall thickness, giving a 114.3 mm outside diameter and a 6.02 mm wall. It is a practical choice for hydraulic lines, general process piping, machinery and low-pressure fluid transfer where a uniform, weldable and pressure-tight pipe is needed.

Schedule 40 wall thickness keeps this 4 inch seamless carbon steel pipe strong enough for hydraulic tubing, cylinder and manifold lines, air and water headers, and general mechanical pipework, while staying light enough to bend, thread and weld on site. Because the pipe is produced without a weld seam, the wall is uniform around the full circumference, which suits machined fittings, rolled threads and pressure-tight welds. Fabricators also use it for structural sleeves, rollers and machine guards. Mill test certificates are available for each heat number so that the pipe can be traced through the project.
