304 Stainless Steel Plate 5mm 2B Finish

304 stainless steel plate in 5 mm thickness with a 2B finish is supplied in 1500 × 3000 mm sheets for fabrication work that needs a smooth, lightly reflective surface together with dependable corrosion resistance. It is a common choice for tanks, food-processing equipment, kitchen and catering units, architectural cladding, and general sheet-metal parts that are formed, bent or welded in the workshop.

This 5 mm plate is widely used in chemical and food processing, pharmaceutical support structures, water treatment tanks, kitchen worktops and back panels, elevator and interior cladding, and general fabrication where a heavier gauge is needed than sheet. Because the material is austenitic, it can be deep drawn, bent and welded with standard 304 filler wire. For service in chloride-rich or coastal environments, a molybdenum-bearing grade such as 316L is usually the better match.
