316L stainless steel plate in 10mm thickness with a No.1 finish is supplied by Shaanxi Shuncheng Tian Steel Co., Ltd. for buyers who need heavy-gauge, corrosion-resistant plate for welded fabrication. No.1 is the standard mill finish for hot rolled plate above roughly 3mm: the surface is annealed and pickled, giving a matte grey appearance that is easy to weld, easy to passivate and economical per tonne. It is the usual starting point for tanks, vessels and structural components that will be ground, brushed or polished further downstream.
