316L Stainless Steel Plate 4mm 2B Finish

316L stainless steel plate in 4 mm thickness with a 2B finish is supplied in 1500 × 3000 mm sheets for projects that need molybdenum-bearing corrosion resistance in a light, easy-to-fabricate gauge. It is a common choice for chemical and pharmaceutical equipment, water-treatment components, coastal cladding, food processing tanks and precision sheet-metal parts.

At 4 mm this grade is stiff enough for tank shells, baffles, ducting and support plates, yet still formable enough to roll, press-brake and plasma or laser cut without special tooling. The chemistry suits chloride-bearing service: molybdenum improves pitting resistance, and the restricted carbon content of 0.030% maximum limits carbide precipitation in the heat-affected zone, so welded joints keep their corrosion resistance without post-weld annealing. Typical end uses include chemical reactor linings, processing equipment, heat-exchanger parts, marine fitments and general fabrication in humid or wash-down environments.

Because orders are normally placed against drawings, we supply stainless steel plate in standard mill sizes as well as cut-to-length formats, each shipment accompanied by a mill test certificate for full traceability. Shearing, bending and edge trimming can be arranged to your tolerance requirements.
