Aluminum foil 1235 0.012mm is a soft temper foil rolled from the 1235 alloy, a low-cost, high-purity grade developed specifically for continuous foil rolling. The light 12 micron gauge keeps material consumption low while still delivering the barrier, insulation and formability performance converters expect, making it a practical choice for food packaging, laminating and thermal insulation projects.

Applications
The 0.012mm gauge in alloy 1235 is commonly converted into food wrappers and container lids, pharmaceutical blister backing, cigarette foil and flexible packaging laminates, where its soft temper allows clean folding without pinholing. In industrial use the same foil serves as a vapour barrier in insulation panels, a wrapping layer for cables and pipe lagging, and a facing sheet in construction foil laminates. Because 1235 is a low-alloy, high-purity grade, it accepts lacquering, printing and adhesive lamination well and keeps unit cost competitive for high-volume runs. All rolls are supplied with tight thickness tolerances and clean edges ready for slitting, embossing or rewinding.
