Seamless Carbon Steel Pipe 20# 8 inch Sch 40

This seamless carbon steel pipe is supplied in grade GB 20# with an 8 inch (NPS 8 / DN 200) diameter and Schedule 40 wall thickness, giving a 219.1 mm outside diameter and an 8.18 mm wall. It is a practical choice for process piping, steam and water headers, machinery frames and general fluid transfer where a uniform, weldable and pressure-tight line is needed.

The Schedule 40 wall gives this 8 inch pipe enough strength for main process lines, steam and condensate headers, cooling water circuits, compressed air mains and boiler feed pipework, while keeping the weight workable for site handling. Because the pipe is produced without a weld seam, the wall is uniform around the full circumference, which suits rolled or machined threads, welded flanges, butt-welded joints and pressure-tight connections. Fabricators also use it for equipment skids, structural sleeves and conveyor rollers. Each length can be supplied with mill test certificates so the material can be traced back through a project file.
