316L stainless steel plate 3mm 2B finish is a cold-rolled, annealed and pickled sheet supplied in 1500 × 3000 mm for fabricators who need molybdenum-bearing corrosion resistance at a light gauge. The smooth, matte 2B surface is easy to clean and takes welding, bending and forming without further treatment, which makes it a standard choice for chemical process skids, food-contact equipment and coastal architectural panels.

Applications
The low carbon content of 316L keeps intergranular corrosion in check after welding, so the plate is commonly used for tanks, heat exchanger shells, ducting, pump bases and valve bodies. In food and beverage plants it is specified for work tables, hoppers and mixing vessels where washdown chemicals are aggressive. The 2B finish also suits architectural cladding, lift interiors and marine fittings where a consistent, low-glare appearance is required. Plates can be supplied sheared or plasma-cut to size, with PVC film protection on request for visible surfaces.
