X65 raises the yield strength over X52, which allows a thinner wall for the same operating pressure, while the PSL2 condition adds mandatory notch toughness testing and tighter chemical control compared with PSL1 — the usual choice for buried pipelines where fracture resistance and long-term integrity matter.
