Boiler Steel Tube SA-106 Gr.B 3 inch

This tube is supplied in 3 inch (88.9 mm) outside diameter with ASME SA-106 Gr.B, the general-purpose carbon steel grade used for boiler banks, economiser coils, superheater supports and steam distribution lines. It is produced seamless and can be ordered cut to length with plain or beveled ends, ready for tube sheet rolling or butt welding on site. Where SA-106 Gr.B Boiler Tube Is Used

SA-106 Gr.B sits between the low-strength and alloy boiler grades: it carries steam in saturated and moderately superheated sections, and is also widely used for feedwater lines, condensate return and heat exchanger shells where temperatures stay within its carbon steel range. Because the grade is readily weldable, fabricators use it for both new boiler construction and retubing work, where a matching heat and consistent wall thickness matter more than premium alloy content.
