Deformed steel bar (rebar) HRB500 25mm is a high-strength hot-rolled ribbed reinforcing bar with a 500 MPa nominal yield strength, supplied in 12-meter lengths for heavily loaded reinforced concrete structures. The 25 mm diameter and high yield grade combine to carry larger design loads with fewer bars, which reduces steel tonnage and congestion in dense reinforcement cages. Ribbed surface deformations lock the bar into the surrounding concrete, delivering the bond performance that columns, transfer beams and pile caps depend on. This grade is available in standard export dimensions and shipped in seaworthy bundles from mill stock.

HRB500 deformed steel bar is specified where high load capacity and efficient steel use matter: high-rise building columns and core walls, transfer slabs and deep beams, bridge piers, precast piles and industrial foundations. Because the 500 MPa grade delivers roughly 25% more design strength than conventional 400 MPa bars at the same diameter, engineers can reduce bar counts and simplify congestion in heavily reinforced members. Bars can be cut and bent on site and joined with mechanical couplers where continuity is required.
