201 Stainless Steel Coil 1.0mm 1219mm Width
201 stainless steel coil at 1.0 mm thickness and 1219 mm width with a 2B cold rolled finish is a low-nickel austenitic grade that replaces most of its nickel with manganese and nitrogen. It costs less than 304 while keeping a bright, uniform surface, which makes it a practical specification for kitchenware, indoor decorative parts and general forming work.
The 2B finish — cold rolled, annealed, pickled and skin passed — is smooth and takes polishing, painting and laser cutting well. At 1219 mm the coil matches standard processing lines and can be slit to narrower strip for roll forming.

Typical Applications
Because 201 trades corrosion resistance for cost, it is normally specified for dry, indoor and low-chloride service. Typical uses include kitchen and catering equipment, sinks and worktops, appliance and refrigerator panels, tableware, decorative trim, elevator and wall cladding, and slit strip for downstream stamping. In coastal, humid or chemical environments 304 or 316L is the safer choice.
