This 6 inch (168.3 mm) 304 stainless steel pipe is supplied in Schedule 80 wall thickness (10.97 mm) as seamless pipe for higher-pressure and mechanically demanding process lines. Grade 304 (UNS S30400) is the standard 18/8 austenitic stainless, and the heavy Sch 80 wall — roughly double the Sch 40 wall on the same outside diameter — adds pressure capacity, threading allowance and structural stiffness while keeping the same nominal size.
