Aluminum foil 8011 0.02mm is a soft temper foil rolled from alloy 8011, an aluminium-iron-silicon grade chosen for its clean surface, good corrosion resistance and suitability for food-contact and pharmaceutical packaging. The 20 micron gauge balances barrier performance with enough body to run steadily on high-speed converting lines, which makes it a practical specification for converters, packers and insulation manufacturers buying in jumbo rolls.

Applications
The 0.02mm gauge in alloy 8011 is commonly converted into pharmaceutical blister lidding and strip pack foil, food container lids, laminates for sachets and pouches, and wrapping for confectionery and dairy products. Because 8011 accepts lacquering, printing and adhesive lamination cleanly, the same foil is also used as a facing sheet in insulation panels, pipe lagging and flexible ducting. Soft temper keeps folding clean without pinholing at this light gauge, while tight thickness tolerance and clean slit edges let converters run the material directly on rewinding, embossing and printing equipment. All coils are supplied with an even, oil-free surface and consistent mechanical properties from coil to coil.
