Boiler steel pipe 20G 4 inch Sch 60 is a seamless carbon steel tube supplied with a 114.3 mm outside diameter and a 7.11 mm nominal wall. Grade 20G is a low-carbon boiler quality steel produced for high-pressure steam, superheater and header service in power plants and industrial boiler plants.

Applications

Typical applications include superheater and reheater tubes, economiser and header piping, main steam lines and low-pressure boiler drums in thermal power stations. As a low-carbon seamless grade it bends, expands and welds readily on site, and it is normally delivered with a mill test certificate covering chemical composition, tensile and flattening tests.
