Boiler steel tube SA-210 Gr.A1 2 inch is a seamless carbon steel tube supplied with a 60.3 mm outside diameter and a minimum wall of 3.91 mm, produced to ASME SA-210 for waterwall, superheater and economiser service in power boilers and heat recovery units.

Applications

SA-210 Gr.A1 tube is used for waterwall panels, superheater and reheater tubes, economiser coils and steam headers in utility and industrial boilers, and in waste heat recovery boilers. Grade A1 requires a minimum tensile strength of 60 ksi (415 MPa) and a minimum yield strength of 37 ksi (255 MPa), with carbon held to a maximum of 0.27 percent, which keeps the tube readily bendable, weldable and expandable during membrane wall fabrication. Tubes are normally supplied in the as-rolled or normalized condition with a mill test certificate covering chemical composition, tensile, flattening and hardness results.
