Galvanized Steel Coil 0.8mm Z275

This 0.8 mm galvanized steel coil is supplied with a Z275 zinc coating, meaning a total coating mass of 275 g/m² over both surfaces, applied on a continuous hot-dip galvanizing line. The heavier coating weight is chosen where a longer outdoor service life matters, such as roofing, wall cladding, HVAC ducting, cable trays and general sheet metal fabrication. Applications

With a Z275 coating, 0.8 mm galvanized steel coil is used for corrugated and trapezoidal roofing and cladding, ventilation and air-conditioning ducting, cable trays, purlins, light structural sections and appliance housings. The 0.8 mm gauge gives a good balance between stiffness and formability, so the coil can be slit, profiled, roll-formed or bent without cracking. The heavier zinc layer slows the formation of red rust at cut edges, fastener holes and bends, which is where thin coatings normally fail first, making this specification suitable for coastal and high-humidity installations as well as inland projects.
